Definition of Syphilis
Lion king or syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease caused by bacteria. Syphilis symptoms begin with the appearance of painless sores in the genital area, mouth, or rectum. Sores in the genital area that are symptoms of syphilis (syphilis) are often invisible and painless, so the sufferer is not aware of it. Syphilis Symptoms
Symptoms of syphilis or syphilis are classified according to the stage of development of the disease. Each type of syphilis has different symptoms. Here is the explanation:
- Primary syphilis. This type of syphilis is characterized by a sore (chancre) where the bacteria enter.
- Secondary syphilis. This type of syphilis is characterized by the appearance of a rash on the body.
- Latent syphilis. Syphilis does not cause symptoms, but the bacteria are in the patient's body.
- Tertiary syphilis. Syphilis can cause other organ damage to the brain, nerves, or heart.
Causes of Syphilis
Syphilis is caused by a bacterial infection, which is spread through sexual contact with a person with syphilis. However, the bacteria that cause syphilis can also be spread through physical contact with sores on the sufferer. Seeing the transmission, syphilis is susceptible to infection in someone who often has multiple sexual partners.
Syphilis Diagnosis
To find out someone has syphilis, the doctor will perform an examination in the form of blood tests and taking wound fluid. Blood tests to determine the presence of antibodies to fight infection, while examination of wound fluid to determine the presence of the bacteria that causes syphilis (syphilis).
